1-Bit Particle Studio turns any photograph into a living field of binary sand. Drop or paste an image and the tool immediately converts it into a strict black-and-white particle grid: white grains form the visible image while black grains act as eraser sand, dissolving whatever they touch. Curl-noise winds, soft attraction back to the original photo positions, density clumping, and subtle depth parallax keep every grain in constant, controllable motion. 

You can drag across the canvas to stir the sand, pause the simulation, or snap everything back to its source layout with a single key. The entire interface stays pure monochrome and square-cornered, matching the 1-bit philosophy. Live sliders let you reshape particle size, lifetime, dark drift, swirl strength, threshold, and more in real time, while one-click presets instantly switch between dense pigment, tidal flow, sparse starfields, or frozen high-contrast prints. Export a crisp PNG of the current frame or record a six-second WebM clip—everything runs fully locally in your browser, so no image ever leaves your device.
