1-BIT HIGHWAY / NIGHTDRIVE a 2026 endless midnight drive through a stylized 1995 style Tokyo expressway rendered in pure 1-bit dither. You cruise a three-lane highway past shifting districts (Shinjuku, Shibuya, Akihabara, Odaiba and more), anime billboards, gantry signs, a rare torii gate and a distant ferris wheel while a fully procedural radio soundtrack plays—twenty curated stations plus an infinite band of live-generated tracks built entirely from Web Audio oscillators (no samples). A side studio lets you remix everything in real time with eight sample pads, four mix faders, four macro knobs and an XY effects pad (crush, delay, wow, ring).

Click or press Enter to ignite, then use A/D (or arrow keys) to change lanes, Q/E to tune stations, W/S for volume, and keys 1–8 to trigger remix pads. Cycle cameras with C, switch palettes with P, invert the look with I, toggle the studio panel with B, and hit O (or the bottom button) for Auto Play—the car steers itself and seamlessly surfs channels. Fullscreen (F), mute (M), horn (H) and visualizer mode (V) round out the controls. Just drive, tune, remix and lose yourself in the endless neon night.
