SCRAP 1944

(UNDER DEVELOPMENT THIS IS A FREE DEMO) SCRAP 1944 is an endless first-person siege shooter set in Sector 9 on the Western Front. Every dawn, iron walkers drop in from the edges of the map as meteors. Your job is simple: destroy the wave, salvage the wrecks for scrap, and survive. Scrap you collect (and any still lying on the ground) carries over between days. Spend it at the machine shop beside the water tower—press F to open the shop or E near the depot for a quick ammo pack (3 scrap). Free medical packs respawn in the center of the sector. Controls are standard: WASD move, mouse look, LMB fire/throw, RMB aim/scope, Shift sprint, Ctrl crouch, Space jump, R reload, and 1–4 to switch between the M-1903A4 Sniper, M3 Grease Gun, Panzerschreck, and Mk 2 Grenades.

Aim for the glowing cores (and the enlarged heads on purple rare mechs—Reaper and Oracle) for massive weak-point damage; a sniper shot to a weak point can delete half a mech’s health. Rockets and grenades are essential against armored targets and bosses—especially the Warden, whose plating resists bullets. Use trenches, bunkers, and craters for cover, watch the minimap and compass for threats and the depot, and restock between waves. Clear the daily wave to advance; the sector rebuilds and the machines return, stronger and more varied, every single dawn.
